Shipping and Return Policy For Our Candles....


Here at Homemade Candle Creations, we strive to the best of our ability to make our customers happy.  We want you to be completely satisfied with our candles. We also want you to have the freshest candles possible, so that is why we make your candles after you order them.  Once the candles are made, they need to have a couple days to set, then they will be packaged with great care and sent to you.  It can take up to 10 days for your candles to be shipped, depending on the size of the order and how many other orders we are trying to fill at the same time.  Of course with a small order, it most likely won't take 10 days to get it shipped unless we are very busy with other customer orders too.  During the Christmas season, orders may take up to 2 weeks to process. We will let you know on the home page the last day that orders must be placed in order to receive them before Christmas.
Please remember that we are a home based business with only 1 or 2 of us making the candles.  

Do you live in or around the Albany, Oregon area?
You can stop by and pick up your candles in person, or we can deliver them to you. Delivery is free within the city of Albany, Millersburg or Tangent. We can deliver as far as Corvallis, Lebanon or Salem(aproximately 30 mile radius of Albany) for a $4.00 delivery fee.
Just let us know in the comment box at checkout and we'll refund your shipping costs.

We can only deliver between 10am - 5pm Mon-Fri, and possibly on Saturdays if noone is home during those times during the week.  

If you would like to come pick up your order, we are open Monday-Friday from 10am-6pm. Just email us and let us know the day and time frame (within an hour) you'd like to show up, and we'll let you know if that works for us, and we'll send you directions.

All orders will be shipped priority mail with insurance and delivery confirmation, so once it is shipped you should receive your order within 1-2 business days.  We'll send you a tracking number when your candle order is shipped.

Damage during shipment

All candles are shipped with insurance, so if you receive a candle that is broken in the box, please let us know within 3 days of receipt, so we can file a claim and get you a replacement candle.

Please email the following information to us:
1. The name of the person the order was shipped to and the order number
2. The tracking number on the shipping label.
3. Description of what was damaged: Size and type of candle, candle scent, color and quantity.

Return Policy

1. We want you to be happy with our candles and return again and again.... So if you ever have a problem with your order, please contact us within 7 days of receipt, and we will gladly work something out for you.  If you have a candle that just isn't burning right or is defective in some other way , you are welcome to exchange it for the same exact candle, and we will make sure that the problems are corrected. We will need to have the candle back in our hands to determine if it is in fact defective before issuing an exchange or credit. If we determine that the candle is in fact defective(isn't burning correctly,wrong scent,wrong color, etc....), we will refund your return shipping costs and send you a new candle.
2. Only candles that have not been lit may be returned for a full refund of the purchase price less any shipping and handling charges.
4. Shipping is non-refundable
5. Customer pays for return shipping and the item must be packaged for a safe return with insurance included(we will refund the cost of insurance). The candle must be returned in it's original condition.
