and Return Policy For Our Candles....

Here at Homemade Candle Creations, we strive to the best of our ability
to make our customers happy. We want you to be completely
satisfied with our candles. We also want you to have the freshest
candles possible, so that is why we make your candles after you order
them in most cases. During busy times we may already have part or all
of your order already in stock.
Once the candles are made, they need to have a couple days
to set, then they will be packaged with great care and sent to you.
It can take up to 10 days for your candles to be shipped,
depending on the size of the order and how many other orders we are
trying to fill at the same time. Of course with a small
order, it
most likely won't take 10 days to get it shipped unless we are very
busy with other customer orders too.
During the Christmas season,
orders may take up to 2 weeks to process. We will let
you know on the home
page the last day that orders must be placed in order to
receive them before Christmas.
Please remember that we are a home based business with only 1 or 2 of
us making the candles, packaging and shipping.
Do you live in or around the
Albany, Oregon area?
We can deliver your candles to you! Delivery is free within the city of
Albany, Millersburg or
Tangent. We can deliver as far as Corvallis, Lebanon or
Salem(aproximately 30 mile radius of Albany) for a $5.00 delivery fee.
If you live outside our free delivery radius, just choose the
Free Delivery option in your cart, and leave a note in the comment box
letting us know you'd like your order delivered and we'll send a
payment request for the$5.00 fee.
We can only deliver between 10am - 4pm Mon-Fri, and possibly on
Saturdays if noone is home during those times during the week.
All orders will be shipped with insurance and delivery
confirmation, with the exception of orders shipped to Canada, so once
it is shipped you should receive your order
within 1-3
business days if you choose the Priority mail or Priority Flat Rate
option. UPS ground orders can take up to 6 days, not including
weekends, to recieve depending on how far away you live.
Large orders may be shipped in more than one box. We'll send
you a tracking number when your candle
order is shipped.
Damage during shipment
All candles are shipped with insurance within the US, so if you receive
a candle that
is broken in the box, please let us know within 3 days of receipt, so
we can file a claim and get you a replacement candle.
Please email
the following information to us:
1. The name of the person the order was shipped to
and the order number
2. The
tracking number on the shipping label.
3. Description of what was damaged: Size and type
of candle, candle scent, color and quantity.
Return Policy
1. We want you to be happy with our candles and return again and
again.... So if you ever have a problem with your order, please contact
us within 7 days of receipt, and we will gladly work something out for
you. If you have a candle that just isn't burning right or is
defective in some other way , you are welcome to exchange it for the
same exact candle, and we will make sure that the problems are
corrected. We will need to have the candle back in our hands to
determine if it is in fact defective before issuing an exchange or
credit. If we determine that the candle is in fact defective(isn't
burning correctly,wrong scent,wrong color, etc....), we will refund
your return shipping costs and send you a new candle.
2. Only candles that have not been lit may be returned for a full
refund of the purchase price less any shipping and handling charges.
4. Shipping is non-refundable
5. Customer pays for return shipping and the item must be packaged for
a safe return with insurance included(we will refund the cost of
insurance). The candle must be returned in it's original condition.
