A
little about our homemade candles
Each of our
different homemade candles
is unique in that we strive to come up with many of our own
blend of scents and
colors, and we use our own original artwork for the decorative
candles
and containers. Our homemade jar
candles are
made with 100% soy wax, unless otherwise stated. Soy wax is
growing
in popularity over the traditional paraffin wax candles, since it is a
natural, renewable resource, burns longer with little to no
soot,
and helps our farmers here in
the US. We'll be posting a page soon that will tell all about
the
benefits of soy wax candles.
Since
soy wax is too soft to use by itself for pillar and votive camd;es, our
homemade votive
and pillar
candles
are a blend of soy wax and another completely natural additive.
If
you like a little color in your life, we suggest our homemade soy
chunk candles.
These are chunks of colored, scented wax, over poured with
another color of scented wax, and are a wonderfull display, and fun for
us to make! These are all homemade, hand poured candles, and
no two are
exactly alike.
Now for our decorative
candles.
These are unique in that we may only have one or two of the same kind
available at a time. Sometimes we find a neat
looking container somewhere and may use it for a candle and
offer
it for sale. We also do hand etching and/or painting of some of our
glass containers, mainly with either horses or landscapes or both.
You may also find carved candles here in the future.
Mmmmm! Love that fresh brewed coffee aroma? Well we have it, and we
have it in many different flavors. You can chooose our
specialty
scents such as a vienese latte(vanilla, cinnamon and coffee) or
a
snickers mocha (along with many other flavors) or you can choose up to
two individual flavors to add to a plain latte or mocha scented candle.
It's just like driving up to your favorite espresso stand!
